Why we collect it

Retention
Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four (24) months unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement or dispute. Engagement files are retained for seven (7) years for professional and tax reasons, then securely deleted or anonymised where practicable. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle (typically ninety days).
Sharing
We use service providers who help us operate email, hosting, and (if enabled) analytics. They process information on our instructions. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by Australian law.
International transfers
Our primary operations are in Australia. Some processors may store data in other countries. Where that occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections consistent with Australian privacy expectations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. Contact hello@adaptercanvaspoint.digital. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you are unsatisfied with our response.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small advisory practice. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending highly sensitive payloads through the public enquiry form.
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is current as of publication.
